PAYMENT
We accept VISA, M/C, American Express, Discover, Cashiers Check or Money
Order. (Sorry no COD’s), personal checks can be accepted but require
10 days to clear before products are shipped.
SHIPPING
Shipping of in stock items normally occurs within 24 hours of ordering.
Fed-Ex 3 Day air is our default shipping method. Interstate shipping for
most sails is usually $25-$50 (large heavier sails will be more). Fed
Ex Ground shipping may be specified by the customer if desired. Call for
shipping charges or other special instructions. All shipments are insured
and will require a signature for delivery unless you specifically request
otherwise. Domestic Shipping only please. If you live outside the U.S.
please arrange a domestic freight forwarding service before placing your
order.

YEAR WARRANTY ON NEW SAILS
From the day your new sail arrives it is guaranteed for fit, quality and
workmanship. If any problem arises with the original fit we will work
with you to determine whether the sail should be modified or replaced,
etc. Parts and labor are covered for any necessary repairs due to failure
or eminent failure under normal (non-extreme) use caused by faulty workmanship
or components. Warranty service is done in-house at The Sail Warehouse
so if you ever need warranty work there is no complication about who will
fix it.
15 DAY INSPECTION PERIOD/GUARANTEE
All published details of both new and used sails are guaranteed to be
accurate including dimensions, condition, quality etc. We want you to
be pleased with your purchase. If we’ve made an error on any listed
sail, you may return it within 15 days of receipt for a full refund, exchange,
or modification. However a 10% Re-stocking charge applies to dirty or
wrinkled merchandise, late returns or customer errors. For customer errors
shipping charges will also apply. Custom orders & modifications are
warrantied but non-refundable. Sails may not be returned after being used
by the customer.
ADDITIONAL
NOTES ON BUYING SAILS
Sail size and construction details such as hardware for most production
boats are usually standard and consistent but occasionally rigs will vary
even on the same make and size boat. Since neither you nor we have control
over this we can only guarantee the dimensions and details of the sails
we sell are accurate as published. If you have any doubts about fit we
recommend that you measure your rig. Measuring instructions are provided
for you here.

USED
SAIL ADVISORY
Used sail inventory searching is available only online. We do not perform
telephone or E-mail searches because of the time involved. All details
for each sail is there for you to see there including price and condition,
(you may have to scroll right to see them). The column headings are live
so be sure to click for detailed explanations. If you do not see a used
sail listed it is because we do not have it so please do not call and
ask if we do. We try to be conservative when rating used sails therefore
we rarely have one returned due to a condition issue. Sails are not usually
stamped with a date when they are made so the age is often unknown. Even
a “New Surplus” Sail could be several years old. Used sails
may not include battens or bags and often will have an insignia or sail
numbers. Please don’t be surprised by any of these things.
SALES
TAX
California residents pay 7.25% sales tax. No sales tax applies to sails
delivered to other states.
MINIMUM
ORDER
Minimum order is $150 or a non-refundable $12.95 handling fee will apply.
RETURNS
If you must return an item, please call ahead for a return authorization
to avoid any delay in your refund or credit. All returned items should
be clean and in the same condition they were received with the original
inventory tags. Sails must be unused, folded neatly and unwrinkled. A
10% Re-stocking charge applies to dirty or wrinkled merchandise, late
returns or customer errors. For customer errors shipping charges will
also apply. Modifications to sails are warrantied but not refundable. |
